Chennai Rains are still going strong, thus making it one of the worst periods in the history of the city. Reportedly, Mollywood celebrities are all set to support the victims in all possible means.
The popular M'town celebrities, including the superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal, are in support of the flood victims. As per the latest updates, Mammootty, along with his son Dulquer Salmaan, have contributed Rs. 5 Lakhs to the flood relief fund.
Mohanlal and his two close friends have contributed 5 Lakhs to the relief fund. Star actress Manju Warrier donated Rs. 1 Lakh. Apart from contributing towards the flood relief fund, Mammootty has also arranged shelters and food for the victims.
Reportedly, a group from Kochi, headed by the popular film-maker Aashiq Abu, is heading towards Chennai with the essential goods. The team is planning to supply drinking water, food items, blankets, umbrellas, and medicines etc all over the city.
Popular actress Kaniha, who resides in Chennai, is already involved in the rescue mission. The actress has been distributing food packets and other essential goods among the victims. We hope that the rain will stop soon and situation will come under control.
