CONFIRMED! Double Barrel For Onam

Double Barrel, the Lijo Jose Pellissery directed movie will hit the theatres for Onam. The movie stars Prithviraj, Indrajith and Arya in the lead roles. Asif Ali and Sunny Wayne appears in the pivotal roles.

The movie, which was originally slated to release for Christmas 2014, was postponed multiple times due to the delay in the filming. It was expected that Double Barrel will be releasing for Eid, but later slated for Onam.

It was rumoured that the post-production works of the movie has been stalled due to the internal issues between the team members. But the sources close to the team slammed the rumours and stated that the project is on track.

Initially, Lijo Jose Pellissery teamed up with Prithviraj, Indrajith and Fahadh Faasil for a movie named Anti-Christ. The project shelved due to the budget issues. Later the team launched Double Barrel.

But Fahadh Faasil left the project just before the shooting, due to date issues Later popular Tamil actor Arya replaced Fahadh as one of the lead actors in the movie.

Rachana Narayanankutti, Swathi Reddy, Isha Sharvani and Pearle Maaney will essay the female leads in the movie. Double Barrel is produced by the banners August Cinema and Amen Movie Monastery.
