Confirmed: Mohanlal And Anwar Rasheed Strikes Again

Anwar Rasheed is all set to direct actor Mohanlal, in his upcoming directorial venture. Anwar and Mohanlal has earlier teamed up for the blockbuster comedy entertainer Chotta Mumbai. The project will be produced by Anwar Rasheed himself, under the banner Anwar Rasheed Entertainments; in association with Weekend Blockbusters.

The close sources of Anwar Rasheed says that the movie will be a complete entertainment package, for the audience of all generations. The title of the movie, female lead, rest of the cast and crew, are yet to be finalised. The makers are planning to make an official announcement of the project soon.

Along with filmmaking, Anwar Rasheed is also venturing into film production as well. The director made his production debut with blockbuster movie Bangalore Days, directed by his best pal Anjali Menon. The went on to become the second highest ever grosser of Malayalam cinema.

The director is currently busy with his second production venture Premam, directed by Alphonse Puthran. The movie, which marks the second association of Neram team, will have Nivin Pauly in the lead role. Three newcomers will essay the female leads in the movie.

Mohanlal, on the other hand, is currently filming for the upcoming Sathyan Anthikad movie, in which he will be pairing up with Manju Warrier. His another project Lailaa O Lailaa, is currently in the post-production stage and is expected to hit the theatres soon.
