Dulquer Salmaan's Charlie Bags A Clean 'U'

Dulquer Salmaan starrer upcoming romantic entertainer Charlie has bagged a clean 'U' from the censor board. Charlie, which is directed by photographer turned film-maker Martin Prakkat and penned by Unni R, will be released on December 24th.

Reportedly, the movie is all about the titular character Charlie, a young man who has a life experience which overshadows his age. He loves traveling and talks a special slang, which is a mix of various types of Malayalam dialects.

According to the team members, they had no other choice than Dulquer, to play the character. Unni narrated the story to him even before fixing a name of the character. The team feels that Charlie is the best name for the character.

Parvathy is playing the female lead opposite Dulquer Salmaan in the movie. She essays a character named Tessa, which is a total revelation after her much intense role, Kanchana. Aparna Gopinath appears in a pivotal role.

The rest of the star cast includes Nedumudi Venu, Kalpana, Renji Panicker, Tovino Thomas, Seetha, Joy Mathew, Renji Panicker, Chemban Vinod, Soubin Shaheer, etc. The movie is produced by the banner Finding Cinema.
