According to the latest reports, Fahadh Faasil will essay the lead role in veteran director Joshiy's next movie. Fahadh is teaming up with Joshiy for the first time in his career. The project, which is penned by Immanuel fame scenarist Vijeesh, will be an action-packed entertainer.
Earlier, Fahadh Faasil was highly criticized by the media and audience for avoiding senior directors. But the actor slammed the allegations through associating with Sathyan Anthikad, for the movie Oru Indian Pranayakadha. Fahadh also stated that he has no issues in working with senior directors; if the script turns out to be really exciting.
But according to the rumour mills, Fahadh Faasil suddenly decided to work with senior directors due to the box office failures of his last few releases. Reports suggest that the actor is re-thinking his decision to work with the filmmakers of his age; due to the back-to-back flops. Fahadh's last few releases; including Mani Ratnam and Mariyam Mukku failed to do well at box office.
Bangalore Days was Fahadh Faasil's only box office hit in 2014. His first production venture, Iyobinte Pusthakam ended up as an average grosser at box office; despite earning positive reviews from the critics. The actor has completed filming for editor Vinod Sukumaran's first direction venture Haram and has joined the sets of Ayaal Njanalla, which marks the directorial debut of actor Vineeth Kumar.
