By Akhila Menon

Fahadh Faasil, the actor who has been going through a tough phase in his career, is planning for a complete image makeover. According to the latest reports, Fahadh has decided to play comic roles in near future, and has already committed a couple of projects, which offers him lighter characters.

The box office failures of his recent movies One By Two, Mani Ratnam and Mariyam Mukku has badly affected Fahadh Faasil's market. The most promising young actor of M'town has recently admitted that his flop movies were substandard, in a recent interview. Fahadh has made a wrong choice by backing out from promising projects as well.

Movies which Fahadh Faasil turned down due to tight schedule, including Sapthamashree Thaskaraha, brought luck for the other young actors. Asif Ali replaced Fahadh in Sapthamashree Thaskaraha; while the role in Double Barrel went on to Tamil actor Arya. Nivin Pauly was roped in to play the role which was offered for Fahadh Faasil in Ivide.

Reportedly, Fahadh Faasil has committed to play the lead role in the upcoming movie Bourbon Street, directed Aby Varghese. The actor is currently filming for the upcoming movie Ayaal Njanalla, which marks the directorial debut of popular actor Vineeth Kumar. His latest flick Haram is all set to hit the theatres today.
