Prithviraj starrer Picket 43, directed by Major Ravi, garnered about 2 crores from the distributer share. The sources states that the movie gained 2.5 crores as the satellite rights; apart from the decent box office collection. Thus, Picket 43 can be doubtlessly called as a hit.
Mili, the movie directed by Rajesh Pillai, with Amala Paul and Nivin Pauly in the lead roles, is another movie which enters into the hit category. The movie earned 1.6 crores from release overseas and 2.95 crores from channel rights. The movie also garnered a good sum from the outside Kerala release and video rights.
According to distributor Sashidharan Ullattil, Mammootty starrer Fireman, directed by Deepu Karunakaran collected 3 crores from release overseas and 4.65 crores from satellite rights. The movie is still being played at 70 theatres; thus emerging as the biggest hit of so far.
