I Was Trapped: Shine Tom Chacko

Shine Tom Chacko, the actor who was arrested under drug charges, states that he did not use cocaine. Shine Tom was addressing media after being allowed bail.

According to the actor, he was trapped by someone else. Shine Tom Chacko says that he yet to identify the people behind his arrest. He also added that he will complete all his committed projects and has absolutely no plans to back out.

The actor was allowed bail after spending almost 59 days in police custody. Shine Tom was arrested along with assistant director Blessy Silverster, models Reshma Rangaswamy, Sneha and Tincy from a posh apartment at Kadavanthra, Kochi.

Even though the blood test conducted upon the court order, turned out to be negative, Kochi police remains strongly claims that almost 10 grams of cocaine was found with the team, during the raid conducted in the flat.

Earlier, some big shots from the Malayalam movie industry, including a popular lady producer and a young actor were linked with the case. A popular Malayalam daily has reported that Fahadh Faasil, Aashiq Abu and Rima Kallingal are involved in the issue.

Both Aashiq and Rima bashed the allegations and has decided to file a defamation case against the daily, for ruining their public image by publishing false news. Kochi police is yet to reveal the true story and people behind it.
