Jomon T John Turns Director!

Malayalam movie industry is going through a phase wherein actors turn singers and filmmakers, filmmakers turn actors and cinematographers turn filmmakers. Jomon T John, the young talented cinematographer is the new entry into the list. According to the recent reports, Jomon T John is all set to make his directorial debut soon.

Dulquer Salmaan is likely to play the lead role in Jomon's debut directorial venture. Some popular heroines are considered to play the female lead in the movie. The rest of the cast and crew, production banner and further details are yet to be finalised. The project is expected to have an official announcement soon.

Jomon T John, who hails from Cherthala, is married to actress Ann Augustine. He made his debut as an independent cinematographer with the popular movie Chappa Kurishu, directed by cinematographer-filmmaker Sameer Thahir. Jomon rose to fame with his works in the popular movies Thattathin Marayathu, Ayaalum Njanum Thammil, Thira etc.

The young cinematographer is currently busy with the filming of G Prajith directed upcoming movie Oru Vadakkan Selfie. The movie will mark his third association with Vineeth Sreenivasan and the crew of Thattathin Marayathu. He will also handle the cinematography of Prithviraj starrer upcoming movie Ennu Ninte Moideen.
