Kanal Final Schedule Begins In Qatar

The second schedule of Kanal, the upcoming Mohanlal movie, has started in Qatar. The movie, directed by Padmakumar stars Honey Rose in the female lead and actor-writer Anoop Menon in a pivotal role.

Kanal is said to be a revenge drama which revolves around the central character John David, played by Mohanlal. John is a man who arrives in the city with a hidden agenda. Anoop Menon essays a journalist who follows John.

As per the reports, Honey Rose will be playing a school teacher, who is the wife of John David. She Taxi fame Sheelu Abraham will essay Revathi, the role of Anoop Menon's wife in the movie.

Popular South Indian actress Nikita Thukral and Bollywood actor Atul Kulkarni will play the key roles in the movie. The supporting cast includes Innocent, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Sadiq, Kochu Preman, Ambika Mohan etc.

The major portions of Kanal were filmed at the various locations of Ernakulam, Munnar, Mysore, Hyderabad, Goa, Dubai and Qatar. The movie is penned by S Suresh Babu, who has earlier penned Mohanlal's Shikhar.

Vinod Illampally handles the cinematography. Ouseppachan composes the music. Kanal is jointly produced by Abaam Movies and Aashirwad Cinema. The movie is expected to hit the theatres by October 2015.
