Kanchanamala, who was the inspiration behind Ennu Ninte Moideen, finally watched the movie with Parvathy, who played her character in the movie. Kanchana watched the movie when it completes the 100th day of release.

Earlier, Kanchana has stated that she will never watch the movie. But she changed her decision upon Parvathy's request and watched the movie at Mukkam Little Rose theatre, along with the actress and a few friends.

Parvathy and the rest of the team members have always expressed their disappointment upon Kanchana's decision to not watch Ennu Ninte Moideen. But finally, the actress managed to change her mind; to the much relief of the team.

When she was asked about the sudden change in the decision, Kanchana replied that she gave up her determination for Parvathy. But she refused to comment on the movie and requested the media to leave her alone.

Kanchana pointed out that she was largely misquoted by the media; which led to several controversies. She also confirmed that she has absolutely no interest to be a part of controversies anymore, and wants to lead a peaceful life.

Meanwhile, Ennu Ninte Moideen, which is directed by RS Vimal with Prithviraj in the title role, has already emerged as one of the biggest hits of the year. The movie has been considered as one of the best love stories ever made in the industry.
