Unni
Mukundan,
the
charming
actor
who
is
all
set
to
release
his
new
flick
KL
10
Patthu
this
Eid,
states
that
director
Lal
Jose
saved
his
career.
Unni
was
talking
in
the
interview
given
to
SouthLive.
According
to
Unni,
Lal
Jose
is
the
only
reason
for
his
second
innings
in
films.
He
states
that
Lal
Jose
was
the
only
director
who
was
ready
to
believe
his
potential,
after
a
long
series
of
flops.
The
director
approached
Unni
Mukundan
with
the
title
role
in
his
super
hit
movie
Vikramadithyan,
when
the
actor
was
actually
planning
to
quit
the
films.
Most
of
the
directors
were
reluctant
to
approach
Unni
at
that
time.
But
when
he
asked
Lal
Jose
the
reason
to
cast
an
unsuccessful
actor
like
him
in
the
title
role
in
his
film,
Lal
Jose
replied
that
he
believes
in
Unni's
talents
and
thinks
that
he
can
act.
The
director's
reply
was
simply
overwhelming
for
Unni
Mukundan,
who
was
almost
under
confident
at
that
time.
He
remembers
that
most
of
the
popular
banners
were
afraid
to
work
with
him.
Unni
Mukundan
states
that
Lal
Jose
is
the
only
person
whom
he
owes
anything
in
this
industry.
Interestingly,
Lal
Jose
is
the
producer
of
Unni's
Eid
release
KL
10
Patthu,
directed
by
Muhsin
Perari.
