CONFIRMED: Lal Jose To Direct Mohanlal

Lal Jose, the hitmaker is finally joining hands with Mohanlal. Lal Jose himself confirmed that he is planning to direct a movie with Mohanlal in the lead role, in a recent interview given to Manorama online.

The upcoming Mohanlal-Lal Jose movie is produced by Anthony Perumbavoor. The female lead, rest of the cast and crew and further details of the project are yet to be revealed.

It was rumoured that the director is sharing cold vibes with the superstar, since last few years. Lal Jose, in an interview, has revealed that Mohanlal is reluctant to trust him and his script.

Earlier, Lal Jose had planned to direct a movie titled Cousins, with Mohanlal and Prithviraj in the lead roles. But the project was later shelved due to Mohanlal's issues with the production banner.

Later, Lal Jose approached the actor with another script while he was filming for Blessy's Bhramaram. But the Mohanlal rejected the script stating that Lal Jose's movies have nothing peculiar.

Lal Jose is currently on a high with the success of his recently released movie Nee-Na. The director will soon start filming for his upcoming Nivin Pauly starrer movie which is penned by Bobby-Sanjay duo.
