JD Chakravarthy To Play Antagonist In 'Bhaskar The Rascal'

JD Chakravarthy, the popular actor will play the antagonist in the upcoming Mammootty starrer movie Bhaskar The Rascal. The movie, directed by Siddique will have Nayantara in the female lead. The versatile actor will be playing a very different villain role in the movie.

If the reports are to be true, JD Chakravarthy will essay the role of Nayantara's ex-lover in Bhaskar The Rascal, which is said to be a complete family entertainer. Chakravarthy is all excited about the opportunity to work with Mammootty, who is one of his favourite actors.

The actors says that he really liked the way Siddique has sketched his character and is all excited to associate with such a prestigious project. More details regarding Chakravarthy's character in the movie will be revealed soon.

JD Chakravarthy made his acting debut with Ram Gopal Verma's Telugu movie Siva, in a negative role. He made his Malayalam movie debut, with Kamal directed Ennodishtam Koodamo, in a supporting role. The actor rose to fame with blockbuster movie Satya, directed by Ram Gopal Verma.

He later went on to play some notable roles in the popular movies like Kannathil Muthamittal, directed by Mani Ratnam. JD Chakravarthy also made his directorial debut with the Hindi film Dhurga, which was a remake of Telugu flick Soori.

Bhaskar The Rascal will also Sanoop Santhosh, Anikha Surendran, Janardhanan, Harisree Ashokan etc in supporting roles. The movie,which is produced by Anto Joseph under the banner Anto Joseph Film Company, is slated to release for April 10th.
