Mammootty Criticizes Educational Minister Abdu Rabb

Mammootty, the actor who recently attended the PN Panicker Memorial Meet as the chief guest, publicly criticized Educational Minister Abdu Rabb, who refused to light the lamp at the inaugural function.

He stated that lighting the lamp is the symbol of positivity; not any religion. The celebrities, who were present at the event, and the media supported Mammootty's statements and criticized Abdu Rabb for his actions.

Reportedly, Mammootty has also stated that he is a practicing Muslim; but still believes that lighting a lamp is not against to the ideologies of any religion. He insisted that Muslim League should not promote such false beliefs anymore.

PJ Kurien, who inaugurated the function, stated his support for Mammootty's statements through his inaugural function. The Mp also stated that lamp lighting ceremony is a part of Indian culture; not any religion.

Mammootty's open statements have been widely appreciated by the eminent personalities from the various fields of society. He has always been vocal about his opinions when it comes to both his personal and professional lives.

The actor, who is a strong follower of Communist ideologies, is also the Chairman of CPM's official Television channel Kairali TV.
