Mammootty's Pathemari: First Look Poster Is Out

The first look poster of Mammootty starrer upcoming movie Pathemari is out. The movie is directed by National Award winning director Salim Ahamed. Popular television host Jewel Mary essays the female lead in the movie.

Siddique's son Shaheen Siddique makes his movie debut with Pathemari. Reportedly, Shaheen will be essaying Mammootty and Jewel Mary's son in the movie. Mammootty is playing the character Pallickal Narayanan, an NRI in the movie.

Pathemari revolves around Pallickal Narayanan and his life from mid 30's to 70's. The movie is penned by Salim Ahamed himself. Actor-writer Sreenivasan essays a vital role in the movie, which is slated to release for Onam.

Madhu Ambat handles the cinematography. Bijibal composes the music. Rasool Pookutty handles the audiography. Pathemari is produced by TK Aashiq and TP Sudheesh, under the banner Allens Media.

Salim Ahamed made his directorial debut with the highly acclaimed movie Adaminte Makan Abu. The movie has won the National Film Awards for Best Feature Film, Best Actor, Best Screenplay and Best Background Score.

Mammootty and Salim Ahamed have teamed up for the movie Kunjananthante Kada. The movie, which introduced Nyla Usha into the industry, was well received by the audience and critics; but performed poorly at the box office.
