Mammootty To Romance Mansi Sharma

Mammootty will romance Punjabi model-actress Mansi Sharma in the upcoming movie Acha Dhin, directed by Marthandan. Mansi will play the wife of Mammootty's character, who comes back to Kerala from Jarkhand after 20 years.

Earlier, it was revealed that the crew is search for a non-Malayali face to essay the female lead, as the character is a North Indian lady who hails from Jharkhand. The director zeroed Mansi Sharma for the role, after watching her movies and serials.

Mansi Sharma, who is also a popular model, has acted in some popular Punjabi movies including Jugadhi.com. She also acted in a couple of Hindi television series, including the highly popular epic drama Mahabharath, which was aired on Star Plus.

Interestingly, Mammootty will essay a nameless character in the movie, which is said to be a complete entertainer. Popular actor Ratheesh's son, Padmaraj Ratheesh will appear in a key role in the movie.

Acha Dhin will have Telugu actor Kishore as the antagonist. Renji Panicker, Manianpilla Raju, Sudheer Karamana, P Balachandran, Kunjan, Anjali Aneesh, Molly Kannamali etc will play the supporting roles.

The movie is penned by AC Vijeesh, who rose to fame with his debut screenplay venture, Immanuel. Acha Dhin is produced by Mammootty's former makeup artist George, under the banner Cyn Cil Celluloid.
