Mammootty Treats Me Like A Family Member: Asif Ali

Mammootty has a great fan following among the film industry. Asif Ali, the young actor recently opened up about his equation with Mammootty in the recent I Me Myself programme aired in Manorama channel.

The actor states that Mammootty is a godfather, who has always guided him in both his personal and professional lives. Asif Ali says that the big M treats him like a family member and considers himself as lucky for that.

It was Mammootty who made him aware about the importance of getting married at the right time. Even when he announced his decision to launch a production house, Mammootty guided him with valuable advices.

He also shared his happiness about how his little son Adam Ali become close to Mammootty, during the Kohinoor audio launch. Adam spend the entire evening with Mammootty; to the much surprise of Asif and his wife Zama.

According to Asif Ali, Mammootty is the most misinterpreted person of the industry. Asif revealed that he had many misconceptions about the megastar before meeting him; but later realised that he is a gem of a person.

Interestingly, Asif Ali's debut movie Rithu was distributed by Mammootty's Playhouse. The role which Asif played in the movie was originally written for Dulquer Salmaan; which he turned down as he was not ready for acting.
