Mammootty Turns Sculptor For Kamal

Mammootty is reportedly all set to play a sculptor in veteran director Kamal's upcoming movie. Mammootty and Kamal are joining hands for a project, after a long gap of 9 years.

As per the latest reports, the untitled flick will have popular television host Jewel Mary as the female lead. Jewel Mary will also play the female lead opposite Mammootty in Salim Ahmed directed Pathemari.

The Mammootty-Kamal movie is expected to start rolling from the last week of April, is penned by PS Rafeeque. The rest of the cast & crew and further details are yet to be revealed.

Karutha Pakshikal, the last association of Mammootty and Kamal, was a widely appreciated by the audience and critics. The movie had also won the National Award for Best Movie On Family Welfare.

Kamal, is currently on a high with the back to back acclaimed movies, Celluloid and Nadan. Celluloid, which is based on the life of the Father of Malayalam Cinema J C Daniel.

Mammootty, on the other hand, is back to form with a series of different movies. Bhaskar The Rascal, the upcoming Mammootty starrer movie directed by Siddique, will hit the theatres on April 10th.
