Mamta
Mohandas,
the
actress
who
is
all
set
to
resume
a
full-fledged
acting
career,
says
that
she
is
extremely
happy
to
make
a
comeback
with
a
Dileep
movie.
She
was
talking
in
a
recent
interview.
The
actress
will
soon
re-enter
the
films,
with
the
Dileep
starrer
movie
Two
Countries,
directed
by
Shafi.
In
the
movie,
she
will
essay
a
Canadian
citizen,
who
gets
married
to
a
carefree
Malayali
man,
played
by
Dileep.
Dileep
and
Mamta
have
earlier
shared
the
screen
in
the
popular
movies
Passenger,
Arike,
and
My
Boss.
The
duo's
performance
as
an
odd
couple
in
Jeethu
Joseph's
My
Boss
was
well-praised
by
the
audience
and
critics.
The
movie
was
majorly
shot
in
Canada
and
the
other
parts
of
US,
which
helped
Mamta
in
continuing
with
her
treatments.
The
actress
is
currently
under
the
treatments
for
Hodgkin's
Lymphoma,
a
type
of
cancer.
Mamta
Mohandas
had
appeared
in
two
films
in
2014;
Mammootty
starrer
Varsham
and
To
Noora
With
Love.
She
played
Dr.
Jayashri,
a
cardiologist
in
Varsham
and
her
performance
in
the
movie
was
widely
appreciated.
The
actress
has
been
receiving
several
movie
offers;
but
she
couldn't
sign
any
projects,
as
she
resides
mostly
in
US
for
the
treatment
purposes.
Mamta
has
then
remarked
that
it
is
too
hard
to
work
during
the
treatment
sessions.
