Manjima To Debut In Tamil & Telugu With Gautham Menon's Next

Manjima Mohan, the new sensation of M'town, is all set for a dream launch in Tamil and Telugu movie industries. Manjima will play the female lead in hitmaker Gautham Menon's upcoming Tamil-Telugu bilingual project.

The actress will romance Silambarasan in the Tamil version, which has been titled Acham Enbathu Madamaiyada. Reportedly, Manjima will pair up with Naga Chaithanya in the Telugu version. AR Rahman composes the music for the movie.

Gautham Menon roped in Manjima, upon the recommendation of his associates, who watched her movie Oru Vadakkan Selfie. The actress was finalized for the role after she impressed the director in the audition, which was conducted in Chennai.

Manjima, who is the daughter of cinematographer Vipin Mohan, was a State Award winning Child Artist. She made her lead role debut with G Prajith directed Oru Vadakkan Selfie, opposite Nivin Pauly.

Manjima mohan, who is planning to pursue a career in acting, is super excited to be a part of such a prestigious project. Initially, Bollywood actress Pallavi Subhash was roped in for the role.

But the actress backed out from the project after completing the first schedule filming, citing date issues. Later, the role went on to South siren Samatha Ruth Prabhu, who turned down the offer, prior to her tight schedule.
