Manju Warrier Is The Best: Sathyan Anthikad

Manju Warrier is the best in both acting and dancing, says Sathyan Anthikad. The hitmaker opened up about his bonding with Manju, in the recent interview given to Malayala Manorama daily.

According to Sathyan Anthikad, Manju Warrier was a very quiet actress who would perform according to the instructions of the director, during the initial stages of her career. But now, she is matured enough to improvise the character on her own.

Sathyan Anthikad also recalled an incident which happened on the sets of Thoovalkottaram, in the interview. When the crew was filming for a song which features Manju and Sukanya, the director asked Manju to under-perform, as Sukanya couldn't match her level.

He feels that Manju Warrier is the best dancer in the Malayalam movie industry, after the veteran actress Shobana. Sathyan Anthikad was one of the very few, who attended Manju's second arangettam, which was held at Guruvayoor temple.

He says that he always wanted the actress to make a comeback into acting and was completely disappointed with her decision to retire. He also added that Manju was the only choice for the character Adv Deepa, in the movie Ennum Eppozhum.

Ennum Eppozhum, which will have Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in the lead roles, will hit the theatres tomorrow. The movie penend by actor Raveendran and Ranjan Pramod.
