PHOTOS: Mithra Kurian Enters Wedlock

Actress Mithra Kurian tied the knot musician Williams Francis, in a traditional church wedding ceremony held on January 26th at Ernakulam. The wedding was held in a private ceremony, in the presence of the couple's close relatives and friends. Popular actors and musicians from the Malayalam film industry; including Mithra's close friend actress Sarayu, attended the wedding.

Mithra Kurian and Williams Francis met during a stage show, which was held in America. The couple instantly become close friends and later, the friendship developed into romance. Mithra and Williams entered wedlock with the blessings of both families.

According to Mithra, Mohanlal was the first person who identified that she is in love. The actress has recently stated that Mohanlal found out about her relationship with Williams, during the filming of Siddique directed Ladies And Gentleman. The actor found out the secret from Mithra's facial expressions, while she was listening to a song composed by Williams.

The actress, who hails from perumbavoor, was born to Kurian and Baby Kurian as Dalma Kurian. She has a younger brother Danny. She adapted the stage name Mithra, before making her acting debut with a small role in Fazil directed Vismayathumbathu.

She later played a series of small roles in some popular movies. Mithra got a major breakthrough with her role in Siddique directed Bodyguard, in which she played the second female lead opposite Dileep. She reprised her role from the original, in the Tamil remake Kaavalan as well.

Williams Francis, who hails from Thrissur, is a renowned musician. He has associated with the popular music directors of the industry, including Ouseppachan and Gopi Sundar, for almost 200 movies. He has worked in the popular movies including Doctor Love, Ayalum Njanum Thammil etc.
