Mohanlal And B Unnikrishnan Back Together

Mohanlal and B Unnikrishnan, the highly popular actor-director duo, will team up for another upcoming movie. The movie, which is said to be an out-and-out thriller, will start rolling by November 2015.

The movie is said to be a complete thriller which will revolve around the current political scenario of Kerala. Sources suggest that Mohanlal will be essaying an extremely different yet powerful role in the movie.

B Unnikrishnan has earlier directed Mohanlal in the popular movies Madambi, Grandmaster and Mr. Fraud. While the first two movies emerged as blockbusters; the recently released Mr. Fraud was a huge critical and commercial failure.

It is not a good time in the careers of both Mohanlal and B Unnikrishnan, who faced severe box office failures with their last few releases. Grandmaster was the only success of B Unnikrishnan, in last 5 years.

For Mohanlal, 2014 was the year of huge box office failures and controversies. The actor's first release in 2015, Ennum Eppozhum, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, did a decent performance at the box office.

The much awaited Mohanlal starrer Lailaa O Lailaa, directed by Joshiy will hit the theatres by the last week of May. The actor is currently filming for Ranjith's upcoming venture Loham, which is also a thriller.
