Mohanlal Back In Telugu Cinema

Mohanlal, the magical actor of Malayalam Cinema is back to Telugu movie industry, after a very long gap. As per the reports, Mohanlal has signed two back-to-back Telugu ventures, including the upcoming Junior NTR starrer.

The project, which is directed by Koratala Siva, is said to be a high voltage action drama, which will have Mohanlal in a very strong role. The movie will have a huge star cast, including Gauthami, Naresh, Nedumudi Venu, Urvashi etc.

Interestingly, Mohanlal's only Telugu movie is the 1994 blockbuster Gandeevam, which had Akkineni Nageshwara Rao and Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead roles. The actor made a special appearance in a song sequence in the movie.

Sources suggest that Mohanlal is planning to concentrate more on the commercial ventures and experiment with other language movies. But at the same time, the actor is said to be reluctant to play full-fledged negative roles.

If the reports are to be true, Mohanlal has also signed another upcoming Telugu project, in which he appears in the role of a senior police officer. However, the actor has not confirmed the reports officially yet.
