FINALLY! Mohanlal Collaborates With SS Rajamouli

Mohanlal, the magical actor of Malayalam cinema has always been admired by all the topnotch filmmakers and actors of the country. SS Rajamouli, the Baahubali director, has once stated that Mohanlal is his favourite actor.

He has also expressed the desire to work with Mohanlal, while he visited Kochi for the promotional events of Baahubali. If the reports are to be true, Mohanlal will soon collaborate with Rajamouli, for his upcoming movie Garuda.

According to the sources, Mohanlal has been approached by Rajamouli, to play a key role in Garuda and the actor is interested in the project. The project is planned with a 1000 Crores budget.

The project is expected to start rolling in 2017, after SS Rajamouli completes his announced projects, including the Baahubali 2, and two big budget ventures including a Mahesh Babu starrer and an Allu Arjun starrer movie.

It is also rumoured that Garuda is a mythological film, based on Mahabharata. However, there is no official confirmation on none of these reports. If things fall in place, Mohanlal will be a part of the biggest Indian film ever made.

Earlier, SS Rajamouli has planned a movie with Mohanlal and even started the pre-production works. But the project was shelved due to technical reasons and instead, Rajamouli's idea was used for a song in Kilichundan Mambazham.

One of the worst films in Mohanlal's career. The movie, which was the remake of the classic movie Sholay, had Mohanlal reprising the role played by Sanjeev Kumar in the original.

Company

Company is a crime thriller directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Mohanlal played the Commissioner Of Police, Sreenivasan IPS in the movie.

Mythri

Mythri is a multi-lingual social drama which was simultaneously made in Kannada and Malayalam. Mohanlal essayed the DRDO scientist Mahadev Godke in the movie.
