Mohanlal Eyes Legislative Assembly Elections?

Mohanlal, the complete actor of Malayalam movie industry, is all set to try a hand at politics, according to the unconfirmed reports. Mohanlal is likely to contest in the upcoming Kerala Legislative Assembly elections.

If the reports are to be true, the actor may contest on a Congress ticket, with the support of NSS (Nair Service Society). The rumours regarding Mohanlal's political entry has been doing rounds since the he attended the NSS mega event, as the chief guest.

Sources suggest that minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan and Kanjirapally MLA C Jayaraj have been trying hard to bring Mohanlal into politics. However, the actor has not confirmed the reports yet.

It has also been rumoured that our action star Suresh Gopi is all set to contest in Legislative Assembly elections, from Vattiyoorkavu consistency in Trivandrum, on a BJP ticket. The actor had confirmed his political entry recently.

Earlier, CPM had approached Mammootty, with a Rajya Sabha ticket. But the actor, who is a strong follower of the party, refused to enter the politics and confirmed that he is not interested in elections. Let's wait for Mohanlal and Suresh Gopi's official confirmations.
