Sreenivasan,
the
popular
actor-writer
says
that
Mohanlal
is
reluctant
to
do
negative
roles.
He
was
talking
in
the
Nere
Chovve
programme,
aired
in
Manorama
News
channel.
He
revealed
the
experiences
with
Mohanlal
on
the
show.
According
to
Sreenivasan,
the
negative
role
in
the
movie
Mukunthetta
Sumithra
Vilikkunnu
was
initially
offered
to
Mohanlal.
But
the
actor
was
not
interested
in
antagonist
roles.
Later,
Sreenivasan
himself
played
the
role
after
making
slight
changes.
The
same
thing
happened
with
the
blockbuster
movie
Udayananu
Tharam.
Sreenivasan
also
expressed
his
disappointment
over
the
attitude
of
talented
actors
towards
good
cinema.
He
states
that
the
star
value
badly
affects
the
movie
choices.
But
at
the
same
time,
Sreenivasan
denied
the
allegations
which
suggested
that
his
movie
Padmasree
Bharath
Dr
Saroj
Kumar
was
targeted
against
Mohanlal.
He
confirmed
that
he
has
no
personal
issues
with
Mohanlal
and
will
not
insult
anyone
through
films.
The
actor-writer
confessed
that
his
straight
forward
nature
has
created
misunderstandings
in
his
friends
circle.
But
movies
like
Udayananu
Tharam
was
made
out
of
his
desire
to
reveal
at
least
a
small
percent
of
the
real
Cinema
world.
It
has
been
rumoured
that
Mohanlal
and
Sreenivasan
are
not
good
terms,
since
the
release
of
the
movie
Oru
Naal
Varum.
Rumour
mills
suggest
that
Mohanlal's
interference
in
the
script
didn't
go
well
with
Sreenivasan.
