Mohanlal's Kanal: Official Trailer Review

Mohanlal upcoming revenge drama Kanal's official trailer is out. The 1.16 minute long trailer is highly impressive and raises the expectations upon the movie. Kanal is directed by Padmakumar and scripted by Suresh Babu.

From the short yet highly crispy trailer, it is clear that Kanal is an out-and-out revenge drama, which revolves around the central character John David. The movie depicts the highs and lows of marital relationships, love, betrayal, and vengeance.

Anoop Menon essays a key role in the movie. Atul Kulkarni plays the main antagonist. Nikita Thukral, the popular actress makes a comeback to Malayalam with Kanal. Reportedly, Mohanlal-Nikitha-Atul Kulkarni trio forms a love triangle, which shapes the major plot.

Nikitha is said to be doing an intimate scene with Mohanlal; which has also been shown in the teaser and trailer. Honey Rose depicts the role of John David's wife. Sheelu Abraham appears as the wife of Anoop Menon's character.

Innocent, Prathap Pothen, Santosh Keezhattoor, Devi Ajith, Arun, Kochu Preman, Raveendran etc plays the supporting roles, Vinod Illampilly handles the cinematography. Vinu Thomas composes the songs and Ouseppachan composes the background score.
