Mohanlal-Ranjith Movie Titled 'Loham'

The upcoming Mohanlal starrer movie, directed by Ranjith is reportedly titled as Loham. Speculations regarding the title of the project has been doing rounds since last few days. Recently, a popular Malayalam television channel confirmed that the movie has been titled Loham.

If the reports are to be true, Mohanlal will be making a comeback into action roles, with Loham. Popular young actor Ajmal Ameer will essay an important role in the movie. Ajmal has earlier shared screen with Mohanlal in popular movie Madambi, directed by B Unnikrishnan. Actress-singer Andrea Jeremiah will play the female lead in the movie.

Earlier, it was rumoured that Manju Warrier will be playing the female lead in the movie. But later, the sources confirmed that Andrea Jeremiah has been roped in to essay the role. Andrea is sharing screen with Mohanlal, for the first time in her career. More details about the cast and crew is to be announced.

Loham is produced by Mohanlal's close associate Antony Perumbavoor, under the banner Ashirwad Cinemas. The movie, which is said to be a big-budget project, is penned by Ranjith himself. The filming will start by the last week of February, at Kozhikode. Loham will be filmed at various locations; including Kozhikode, Kochi and Dubai.
