Mohanlal-Suchitra Wedding Anniversary Special

Mohanlal and Suchitra, the star couple of Malayalam movie industry, celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary yesterday. Mohanlal and Suchitra entered wedlock, on April 28th, 1988. It was a love-arranged marriage for the couple.

According to Mohanlal, Suchitra, who is a huge fan of him, used to sent her greeting cards and flowers, before marriage. Initially, both the families had decided to drop the wedding idea, as horoscopes of the couple didn't match, but later the astrologer was proven to be wrong.

Suchitra is the daughter of popular Tamil movie producer Balaji. Mohanlal was born to Viswanathan Nair, a former law secretary and Santhakumary Amma. The couple has two kids; Pranav, who is currently assisting director Jeethu Joseph and Vismaya, who is pursuing her higher studies.

Despite the problems and controversies, the couple is still going strong. Mohanlal has not been much vocal about his personal life and family. Suchitra, who is a homemaker, rarely makes public appearances and has never appeared in any television shows or interviews.

The actor has always been vocal about how Suchitra supported him to build a successful career. According to Mohanlal, it is his wife who takes care of the complete needs of his kids and parents, and that has helped him to concentrate more on his career.
