Mohanlal,

band

inaugural
function,
made
it
clear
that
he
will
be
returning
the
remuneration
of
Rs
1.6
crore
to
Government.
Mohanlal
announced
his
decision
to
return
the
money,
through
his
official
Facebook
page.
The
actor
announced
his
decision
and
explained
his
part,
through
a
two-page
letter
and
also
posted
the
list
of
expenses
for
the
show.
Mohanlal
asserted
that
he
is
extremely
upset
and
hurt
with
the
way
some
people
treated
his
wholehearted
efforts.
The
actor
says
that
it
was
upon
the
insistence
of
Chief
Minister
and
Sports
Minister,
that
he
decided
to
launch
Lalisom
at
National
Games
inaugural
ceremony.
According
to
Mohanlal,
a
big
music
concert,
lead
by
a
popular
musician
was
planned
for
the
National
Games
inaugural
function;
but
got
cancelled,
owing
to
the
huge
expense.
Mohanlal
also
made
it
clear
that
he
hasn't
received
any
remuneration
for
himself,
to
perform
at
the
event;
but
received
Rs
1,63,77,600
crores
for
the
expenses
of
the
show.
Mohanlal
says
that
he
is
very
particular
that
his
fans
and
admirers
should
have
no
suspicion
about
him
with
regards
to
the
issue.
The
actor
also
states
that
he
was
well
aware
about
the
controversies
regarding
the
show,
and
the
social
media
attack
towards
him.
Mohanlal
requested
his
fans
and
media
to
end
up
the
controversies
surrounding
the
Lalisom
show.
