Nayantara Is The Perfect Heroine For Mammootty: AK Sajan

AK Sajan, the filmmaker feels that Nayantara is the perfect heroine for Mammootty. According to Sajan, there was no other choice for the female lead, in his Mammootty starrer movie Puthiya Niyamam, other than Nayantara.

Reportedly, Puthiya Niyamam is a social thriller which mainly discusses the issues faced by inter-caste couples. Mammootty essays Louis Pothan, a leftist advocate. Nayantara plays Louis Pothan's wife Vasuki. Both the roles are said to be equally important in the movie.

Director Sajan feels that no other actress can essay such a powerful role along with Mammootty, in current scenario. Nayantara is the only leading lady who can match Mammootty with both the acting skills and good looks.

The filming of Puthiya Niyamam is progressing at the various locations of Kochi. The movie will also have She taxi fame Sheelu Abraham in a pivotal role. Further details of the movie will be announced soon.

Mammootty's iconic character Narasimha Mannadiar from the blockbuster movie Dhruvam, was created by AK Sajan. Mammootty-Sajan duo has also teamed up for Sanjeev Sivan directed Aparichithan and Shaji Kailas's Dhrona.

Nayantara, on the hand, is joining hands with Sajan for the first time. She has earlier shared the screen with Mammootty in three movies. The duo's last association Bhaskar The Rascal was a huge box office success.
