Nikitha Back In Mollywood With Mohanlal's Kanal

Nikitha, the actress who entered Mollywood with Fazil's Kaiyethum Doorathu, is back in the industry with the upcoming Mohanlal movie Kanal, directed by Padmakumar. Nikitha will play a pivotal role in the movie.

The actress last appeared in Malayalam in the movie MLA Mani. Nikitha, who romanced Fahadh Faasil in her debut movie, has also shared the screen with Mammootty in the movies Bus Conductor and Daddy Cool.

As per the reports, Nikitha will be playing the role of a film producer in Kanal, which will have Anoop Menon in a pivotal role. Honey Rose will essay the female lead opposite Mohanlal in the movie.

Nikitha, who is all set for her second innings in Mollywood, is extremely excited about sharing the screen with Mohanlal. The actress is planning to be active in the industry if she receives the right roles.

Despite being launched by the Fazil, Nikitha failed to make it big in Malayalam movie industry due to the huge failure of her debut movie. The actress later moved her base to Telugu and Kannada movie industry.

The actress managed to bag some good offers from both the industries. But the consecutive box office disasters and controversies regarding her alleged relationship with actor Darshan badly affected her career.
