Nithya Menen To Play RJ Sarah In Bangalore Days Remake?

It the reports are to be believed, Nithya Menen will be playing the popular character RJ Sarah from Bangalore Days in the Tamil remake of the movie. The character was originally played by Parvathi. Earlier, it was reported that Parvathi will be reprising the character in the remake; but as per the latest reports, the actress is not a part of the project.

Nithya Menen has played a cameo role in Bangalore Days as Natasha. The actress was the original choice for Nazriya Nazim's character Divya; but later she was replaced with Nazriya as director Anjali Menon felt that Nazriya suits the character more.

Nithya is not a fresh face for the Tamil movie industry. The actress has played the lead roles in a couple of movies, including Malini 22 Palayamkottai, the remake of 22 Female Kottayam.

Arya will be reprising Dulquer Salmaan's role Arjun in the movie. Siddharth and Samantha will replace Fahadh and Nazriya. Neram fame Bobby Simha will reprise Nivin Pauly's character. The names of the characters will be different from the original in Tamil remake. The movie, directed by Bommarilu fame Bhaskar, will simultaneously be released in Telugu as well.
