Nivin Pauly In Dilemma After Premam
Nivin Pauly is in a dilemma after the great success of Premam. He says that he is struggling to choose between experimental and commercial films. Nivin remarks that people will call him a fool, if he starts experimenting.
On the other hand if he concentrates only on commercial films, the media and audience might start criticizing him for not being selective. Nivin feels that every actor should try to be a part of good films; which will also perform well at box office.
The actor also added that there is no such comfort zone for him and he is doing the films which he likes. Nivin states that the criticisms upon his comfort zone are totally illogical.
Premam and Ivide, the last two films of Nivin Pauly, were released on the same day. While Premam broke all the collection records and emerged as a blockbuster, Ivide failed to impress the audience and critics.
Nivin Pauly's was highly praised for his portrayal of George in Premam; while the actor received huge criticisms for his performance in Ivide. The media and fans were constantly comparing his acting with his co-star Prithviraj.
Shyamaprasad, the director of Ivide, has allegedly stated that Nivin Pauly needs to work on his acting skills. The actor accepted his director's comments and stated that he respects Shyam's opinions.
