Oru Vadakkan Selfie To Be Remade Into 5 Languages

Oru Vadakkan Selfie, the recently released Nivin Pauly starrer movie, is all set to be remade into 5 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, and Bengali. The original is directed by G Prajith.

The team announced the news, through the official Facebook page of the movie. Remake rights for some of the languages has been sold; while discussions regarding the others are progressing. More details about the remakes will be revealed soon.

The movie will complete 100 days at the releasing centers soon. Oru Vadakkan Selfie is breaking the record of Drishyam, by getting remade into 5 languages. Drishyam has been remade into 4 languages.

Oru Vadakkan Selfie can be coined as the first superhit of 2015. The movie is penned by actor-filmmaker Vineeth Sreenivasan, who has also played a pivotal role. Manjima Mohan essayed the female lead in the movie.

Aju Varghese, Neeraj Madhav, Santhosh Keezhattoor, Vijayaraghavan, Sreelakshmi, Parvathy, P Sukumar etc appeared in the supporting roles in the movie. Jomon T John handled the cinematography and Shaan Rahman composes the music.

The movie was produced by Vinod Shornur, under the banner Cast N Crew. Media and audience are eagerly waiting to know the star cast of the respective remakes. Reportedly, Nivin Pauly will not be a part of the remakes.
