CONTROVERSY: Prathap Pothen Abuses Jayaram, Calls Him Racist Moron & Uncouth
Prathap Pothen, the actor-director has made a controversial move, by abusing actor Jayaram through a Facebook post, which was posted in his official page. Shockingly, Prathap has called Jayaram a racist moron and uncouth.
But the actor-director deleted the post immediately, as it stirred up a controversy.. Prathap hadn't mentioned Jayaram's name anywhere in the post but had clearly hinted that the person is a mimicry artist-turned-actor, who is a Padmashree holder.
He started the post, saying that this mimicry artist-turned-actor was introduced by his brother Hari Pothen. But he doesn't even care to attend the funeral or send a condolence message when his brother passed away.
Prathap says that Jayaram, who later earned fame and money, thinks that he is the Marlon Brando of Malayalam cinema. He also alleges that the actor earned Padmashree only because of his influence; not for his talent.
He points out that Jayaram hasn't been able to do anything more than mimicry in his films; but still thinks that he is a superstar. Prathap Pothen also stated that Mammootty and Mohanlal are the only superstars of M'town.
The actor-director also bashed Jayaram for his controversial take on Tamilnadu people. Jayaram's racist comments on Tamilians was highly criticized by the public. Prathap ended his note by advising Jayaram to read books and grow up as a human being.
