PHOTOS: 'Premam' Director Alphonse Puthren Is Engaged!
Premam director Alphonse Puthren is all set to get hitched soon. The hitmaker got engaged to Aleena Mary Anthony, the daughter of popular film producer Alwyn Anthony yesterday (August 17, 2015).
The 'Manassammatham' ceremony was held at Elamkulam Little Flower Church, Kochi. The ceremony was only attended by both the families members and very close friends of Aleena and Alphonse.
But, the post-engagement reception was a complete star-studded event. The venue was dazzled by the biggies from the movie industry, including the superstars Mammootty and Mohanlal.
Dulquer Salmaan and his wife Amal Sufiya, Fahadh Faasil and Nazriya Nazim, Farhaan Faasil, etc were also present at the event. The entire crew of Premam, except the lead actor Nivin Pauly and leading ladies, were present at the event.
It is purely an arranged marriage for Alphonse Puthren and Aleena Mary. The proposal was jointly put forward by both the families. The couple will tie the knot in a traditional ceremony on August 22nd, in Kochi.
Alphose Puthren, who hails from Aluva, is the son of Manjooran Veettil Puthren Paul and Daisy. The filmmaker made his feature film debut with the Malayalam-Tamil bilingual Neram, which was a decent grosser at the box office.
