Premam
piracy
controversy
has
been
heading
towards
new
developments.
Social
media
has
been
blaming
Mohanlal
and
Priyadarshan
for
the
leakage
of
Premam
censored
copy,
stating
that
they
are
the
owners
of
Vismaya
Max
and
Four
Frames.
But,
the
trollers
have
forgotten
that
Mohanlal
is
not
the
owner
of
Vismaya
Max
anymore.
The
actor
had
sold
Vismaya
Max
to
Aries
Group
last
year.
Some
popular
online
journals
have
reported
that
the
actor-director
duo
is
behind
the
piracy.
Priyadarshan
is
one
of
the
first
Mollywood
celebrities
to
tweet
about
Premam.
He
was
highly
excited
about
the
technical
brilliance
and
narrative
style
of
the
movie
and
has
stated
that
the
movie
is
a
great
inspiration
for
future
Malayalam
cinema.
Jude
Anthany
Joseph,
the
filmmaker
who
made
his
acting
debut
with
Premam,
slammed
the
rumours.
He
has
requested
the
social
media
not
to
drag
veterans
like
Mohanlal
and
Priyadarshan
into
the
issue.
But
Anwar
Rasheed,
the
filmmaker
who
produced
the
movie,
and
Alphonse
Puthren,
the
director
of
the
movie,
hasn't
commented
on
the
trolls
yet.
It
has
been
proven
that
the
pirated
copy
of
Premam
was
uploaded
from
Canada.
Anwar
has
revealed
that
the
censored
copy
of
Premam,
which
was
leaked
on
the
internet
was
only
available
at
Vismaya
Max,
Trivandrum
and
Four
Frames
Studio,
Chennai.
Both
Mohanlal
and
Priyadarshan
hasn't
commented
on
the
rumours
yet.
