Premam Misleads Youth: Kamal

Kamal, the veteran director criticized the recent blockbuster Premam, in a recently conducted event. Kamal feels that Premam misleads the youth with several wrong messages. He feels that the movie is just over-rated.

According to Kamal, the student-teacher romantic relationship which is shown in the movie and the scenes which show the drunk students attending the class are misleading. He feels that such sequences of the film are conveying wrong messages.

He also added that the Premam piracy issue is blown out of proportion. Kamal remarks that this is not the first ever piracy issue happening in Malayalam movie industry. He says that the issue is unnecessarily popularized.

Recently, popular playback singer Venugopal has also harshly criticized Premam through his official Facebook post. Venugopal has stated that the movie was completely annoying and completely failed to impress him.

The singer was widely criticized by Nivin Pauly and Premam fans, for his offensive Facebook post. It is a fact that a major group of audience and critics think that Premam is a highly over-rated movie.

On the other hand, filmmaker Balachandra Menon, who recently watched Premam, was in all praise for the team. He has appreciated the makers; Alphonse Puthren and Anwar Rasheed, for making such a successful film out of a simple theme.
