Prithviraj's Anarkali: Official Teaser Review

Prithviraj starrer Anarkali's first official teaser is out. Anarkali is an out-and-out love story, which marks the directorial debut of scriptwriter Sachi. The 36 seconds long first teaser is light, romantic and highly promising.

The teaser opens up with the shot of the leading lady Priyal Gor, accompanied by a voice-over. The narration describes that this girl is a voracious reader and is nearly obsessed with a particular book and the characters in it.

Later, the teaser shows the major actors of the movie, including lead actor Prithviraj, Biju Menon, Kabir Bedi, Miya George, etc. Interestingly, all the actors except Biju Menon sport entirely different getups in the teaser.

Undoubtedly, the first teaser is highly impressive and raises the curiosity upon the movie. Anarkali was shot with high privacy, as not much location reports and details regarding the characters have been revealed yet.

The movie also features popular cinematographer-filmmaker Rajeev Menon, Renji Panicker, Suresh Krishna, director Major Ravi, Madhupal etc in the other key roles. The movie is penned by Sachi himself.

Sujith Vasudev handles the cinematography. Vidyasagar composes the music. Ranjan Abraham is the editor. Anarkali, which is produced by Rajeev Nair under the banner Magic Moon Productions, will hit the theatres by November.
