Prithviraj Bags The Remake Rights Of Spanish Thriller 'Timecrimes'

Prithviraj, the star of the season, has always mentioned that he is extremely interested in the various aspects of film-making. Unlike most of his contemporaries, Prithviraj has always been a part of the making of his movies.

As per the latest updates, the actor has bagged the remake rights of Timecrimes, the popular Spanish crime thriller. Sources suggest that Prithviraj is planning to remake the movie into Malayalam, under his production banner August Cinema.

The remake will be directed by the newcomer Kannan. If things fall in place, Timecrimes remake, will be the first ever time loop movie in the history of Malayalam Cinema. The title of the movie is yet to be finalized.

Timecrimes is a 2007 released movie, directed by Nacho Vigalondo. The movie received a 'Certified Fresh' score on Rotten Tomatoes with a rating 7/10. The movie has won several accolades at various film festivals.

Prithviraj has already started the preparations for his role in the upcoming movie Aadujeevitham, which will start rolling by the end of 2016. Meanwhile, he will complete the filming of Sujith Vasudev's James And Alice and other committed movies.
