By Akhila Menon

Prithviraj, the young talent of M'town, is all set to play a cameo role in Mohanlal starrer Loham, directed by Ranjith. Prithviraj will appear in the role of a Police Commissioner in Loham.

If things fall in place, Loham will mark the first association of Prithviraj and Mohanlal. As per the reports, Mohanlal and Prithviraj will also share the screen in the upcoming Padmakumar project Kanal.

Earlier, Prithviraj was supposed to share the screen with Mohanlal and Manju Warrier in a Ranjith directed movie. But the project was shelved in pre-production stage itself, due to undisclosed reasons.

Prithviraj has earlier appeared in a cameo role in Mammootty starrer Munnariyippu. The actor has earlier stated that he is ready to do cameo roles if the story and the character are interesting.

Loham will have Andrea Jeremiah in the female lead. Mythili and Parvathi will appear in pivotal roles. The movie will also have Aju Varghese, Pearle Maaney, Manikuttan, and Srinda Ahsab in cameo appearances.

The movie is penned by Ranjith himself. Kunjunni S Kumar handles the cinematography. Sreevalsan J Menon composes the music. Loham is produced by Antony Perumbavoor, under the banner Ashirwad Cinemas.
