Confirmed: Prithviraj, Indrajith & Jayasurya As 'Amar Akbar Anthony'

It is confirmed- Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya will be playing the lead roles in actor-director Nadhirshah's directorial debut Amar Akbar Anthony. Nadhirshah himself confirmed the news through his official Facebook page. Nadhirshah also made it clear that the movie is not a remake of the Bollywood classic Amar Akbar Anthony.

Reports regarding the project was doing rounds since last few years; but Nadhirshah hasn't made an official confirmation. It was also rumoured that Prithviraj backed out of the project, due to the creative differences. But all speculations have come to an end with the official announcement of the project.

Nadhirshah and Prithviraj has also posted the first look posted of the movie in their official Facebook page. The poster looks promising and hints that the movie will be a complete entertainer.

Reportedly, Prithviraj, Indrajith and Jayasurya will be sporting new getups for the movie. The female lead and rest of the cast are yet to be finalised.

The movie is penned by the debutante scenarist duo, Bipin-Vishnu. Sujith Vasudev is the director of photography. Johnkutty handles the editing. Deepak Dev will compose the songs and background score for the movie.

Amar Akbar Anthony is a dream project for Nadhirshah, who has already made a mark as a lyricist and television host. Even though he was not successful as an actor, Nadhirshah has acted in some iconic movies as well.

Amar Akbar Anthony is expected to start rolling on April 2015. The movie is produced by Dr Zachariah Thomas and Alwyn Anthony, under the banners Ananya Films and United Global Media Entertainment.
