Prithviraj's Memories To Be Remade Soon

Prithviraj starrer psychological thriller Memories is all set to be remade into Tamil. As per the reports, the movie, which was directed by Jeethu Joseph, will be directed by popular filmmaker Arivazhagan.

Arulnidhi, the famous Tamil actor will reprise the central character Sam Alex, which was played by Prithviraj in the original. Reportedly, the basic story will have little changes when it comes to the Tamil remake.

The rest of the cast, title of the movie, and further details will be revealed soon. The team has already started the pre-production works of the movie. The remake will start rolling by the first week of October.

Memories was a great turning point in the careers of lead actor Prithviraj and director Jeethu Joseph. The movie, which has a low profile release, turned out to be a surprising hit of the year.

Prithviraj's portrayal of Sam Alex, a police officer who turns alcoholic after a personal tragedy, was widely praised by the audience and critics. The actor won several awards for his performance in the film.

Jeethu Joseph, on the other hand, emerged as one of the most promising filmmakers of M'town. His last venture Drishyam and its Tamil remake Papanasam emerged as blockbusters at the box office.
