As per the latest reports, Reenu Mathews will play Mohanlal's boss in the upcoming Sathyan Anthikad directed untitled flick. The actress will play Kalyani, the new editor-in-charge of Vanitha Ratnam magazine, while Mohanlal plays Vineeth Pillai, the senior correspondent of the magazine. Manju Warrier will essay social activist, Adv Deepa.

Kalyani is a very strict boss. Vineeth Pillai's lazy nature irks her and she plans to throw him out of the organization. She assigns him to interview Adv Deepa, the popular social-activist. It becomes a very tough job for Vineeth. This forms the interesting plot of the movie.

Reenu Mathews, who is sharing screen with Mohanlal for the first time in her career, is highly excited about the project. The actress says that Kalyani is extremely similar to her real-self. Unlike her earlier characters, which portrayed her as a loving wife, Reenu plays a head-strong young woman in the movie.

Even though there won't be much combination scenes of her with Manju Warrier, Reenu Mathews is extremely happy to play a pivotal role in the movie, in which her favorite actress plays the central character. The yet to be titled movie is produced by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner Ashirwad Cinemas.
