Sanoop Santhosh, the child artist is more matured that actress Manju Warrier, according to director Rojin Thomas. No, we are not talking about the real Sanoop and Manju; but their characters in Jo And The Boy.
In the movie, Manju Warrier is playing Joyal Mary John aka Jo, who works as the computer tutor in a school. But Jo is not matured enough for her age and has an extremely childish nature.
Jo is in chase of her childhood fantasy, which has absolutely no chance to become a reality. She meets a young boy named Chris during her journey. Unlike Jo, Chris is highly matured for his age.
The movie is expected to be a turning point in Manju Warrier's career. The actress is also appearing as the 20-year-old Jo in the movie; to the much excitement of her die-hard fans.
The character is undoubtedly a huge revelation for Manju Warrier, who is almost typecasted with the 'unhappy wife' roles. Jo And The Boy also marks the re-collaboration of team Philips And The Monkey Pen.
Lalu Alex, Sudheer Karamana, Rekha Menon, Pearle Maaney, Kala Ranjini, Kiran, Sunil Sukhadha etc appear in the supporting roles. Jo And The Boy is produced by Goodwill Entertainments.
