Shine Tom Chacko And Anusree In Saigal Padukayanu

Shine Tom Chacko and Anusree, the popular star pair will join hands again, after the huge success of their first association, Ithihasa. The duo will share screen in the upcoming movie Saigal Padukayanu, directed by veteran filmmaker Sibi Malayil.

Ithihasa, the movie which has Shine Tom Chacko and Anusree in the lead roles, was a critical and commercial success. The onscreen chemistry between Shine Tom and Anusree was widely appreciated by the audience and critics.

Saigal Padukayanu is an ambitious project for Sibi Malayil, who tasted failure with his comeback movie Njangalude Veettile Athidhikal. The movie, which had Jayaram and Priya Mani in the lead roles, was a critical and commercial disaster.

Earlier, it was rumoured that the movie is biopic based on the life of veteran singer Saigal. As per the latest reports, Saigal Padukayanu has no connections with life of Saigal and the movie is not a biopic.

Reportedly, the movie penned by TA Rasaq, will be an out-and-out musical entertainer, which will be depicted in the backdrop of Calicut city and its culture.

Siddique, Madhupal, Sudheer Karamana, Mamukoya etc will play the supporting roles in the movie. M Jayachandran will compose tunes for the lyrics penned by Rafeeq Ahmed. The movie will start rolling immediately after Shine Tom Chacko’s current projects.
