Shivada Nair And Murali Krishnan Enter Wedlock

Shivada Nair, the Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam fame actress tied the knot with actor Murali Krishnan, in a traditional ceremony held at Angamaly today (December 14th). It is a love-cum-arranged marriage for the couple.

The wedding was a close-knit affair, which was only attended by the family members and close friends of the couple. Actor Aju Varghese has wished the couple by posting a candid wedding picture on his Facebook page.

The actress announced the wedding news a few days back; to the much surprise of the media and fans. Shivada had confirmed that the wedding will not be a filmy affair; and the couple likes to keep it simple and private.

Shivada Nair, who is also known as Sreelekha, made a successful comeback to Mollywood recently with Su Su Sudhi Vathmeekam. Murali, on the other hand, is popular for his roles in Raghuvinte Swantham Raziya and Second Show.

Murali Krishnan and Shivada have been family friends since a long time and the duo studied in the same college. So, the actress was quite sure about choosing Murali as her life partner, when both families decided to move forward with the proposal.

Shivada has completed filming for her Tamil flick and is planning to be active in the field. Murali Krishnan, who will be next seen in the upcoming movie Zachariah Pothan Jeevichirippunde, has absolutely no issues in his wife pursuing an acting career.

The couple tied the knot in a simple traditional Hindu ceremony, in the family members and a few close friends. Reportedly, no film industry members were invited for the wedding.

Shivada looked completely gorgeous in the traditional settu-mundu, for the thaalikettu ceremony. The actress opted for a bright pink Kanjeevaram saree, teamed up with traditional gold jewellery, for the post-wedding ceremonies and reception.

Murali Krishnan looked dashing in the traditional Malayali groom getup, which includes white silk shirt and kasavu mundu.

It is a love-cum-arranged marriage for Murali Krishnan and Shivada, who were collegemates and close family members. The actress is planning to be active with new projects after marriage.
